Maverick Walker serves as Director of Marketing & Events for the Texas Rural Education Association. He joined TREA as an intern in 2021, became Coordinator of Marketing & Events in 2024, and advanced to his current role in June 2025. Maverick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management and Business Ethics from Harding University. His background includes marketing, communications, event management, and association operations. Through his work with TREA, he supports the educators, students, and communities that make rural Texas schools unique.
