Wrap up your year with Distance Learning!

Happy spring!  Distance Learning at the Bullock Museum has enjoyed seeing many of you and your students throughout the year.  As you make plans for April and May, we’d like to let you know about our current programs that might be useful additions to your Social Studies and RLA curriculum.

• We are excited to announce a brand-new Social Studies program called Citizenship in Texas!  We’ll be exploring civic rights and responsibilities, the 3 branches of government, famous Texas legislators and how the Alamo was saved in the early 1900s by women in the San Antonio community.
• We are also excited to announce a brand-new storybook program for our K-2^nd grade audiences called Nell Plants a Tree!  We’ll read the storybook and discuss setting, topic and the many uses of Texas’s state tree, the Pecan.
• Our spring Social Studies offerings include programs on Immigration, Oil in Texas, Civics and State Symbols.
• Our spring RLA programs include Biographies and Fractured Fairy Tales.

We also have many other topics available if you are at a different place in your curriculum or would like to register for programs further out.  Our schedule has openings from now through the end of school. If you don’t find a program on a date or time that meets your needs, please email us directly at [email protected].  We are very flexible and happy to work with you.

We also offer recordings of many of our classes, which can also be found on Connect2Texas.net and will have (RECORDING) in the title to differentiate from the live programs.  These can be watched on whatever day and time works for you.
